Notice to ALL Florissant Colorado Real Estate Agents, Title Companies, and Prospective New Home Owners within the Druid Hills Subdivision

Don’t be the next victim to the current tactics being used by the NON-Mandatory “Optional” Druid Hills Property Owners Association. This has been an issue at real estate closings taking place within the Druid Hills Subdivision in Florissant Colorado, Teller County. As reported by new residents, where they were held under duress to accept “membership” into the Druid Hills POA. Sellers in Druid Hills who are NOT legally obligated to pay anything to the Property Owners Association. Were forced to do so at closings, are currently seeking legal damages. This is a violation of the rights of consumers, in which full disclosure should be given, especially when specifically asked – that the Druid Hills Property Owners Association is an OPTIONAL association. The “choice” as to whether or not a new homeowner willfully decides to join the association is being misleadingly. Represented as a mandatory requirement. Know your rights and the rights of your buyers!
