Why do we need to take action against the Druid Hills Property Owners Association?
Multiple homeowner residents have reported that the Druid Hills POA has this Agenda in mind!
THE POA PROMISE
- Increased dues of up to $1500 a year on their long-term “agenda” for Druid Hills residents, per recent documented meeting minutes
- Recorded documents stating no interest or obligation to provide anything of value or in return to residents for paid dues
- Non-compliance with governing laws and regulations
- Bogus liens being placed on residents for not paying NON MANDATORY dues
- Harassment (to the point where homeowners have actually fled the subdivision)
- Trespassing and Invasion of Privacy
- Misuse of “implied powers”
- False representation as a “Mandatory” association
- Misleading local real estate agencies and deceptively interfering with property closings
…the list goes on, an ongoing problem. Why would we want this type of rogue association representing the residents of our community?
OUR PROBLEM
The problem in our community, is not with the Druid Hills POA itself, it’s how it’s being operated and misused. The POA misuse of authority, misconduct and deception in representing themselves as a valid entity is a sham in our community, that does not operate in good faith. A POA or HOA business is a privilege, to own and operate in our community that should be honored in good faith.
Good faith comes with an obligation to the community, an ethical, moral responsibility, to do what is in the best-interest of the community.
WHAT THE POA HAS IN MIND
Not just, try to use it to gain control and power over people, manipulate the truth, and use it for personal self interest and agenda. This community does not benefit from any of the dues that the Druid Hills POA is demanding, if anything, the residents have suffered! With the POA intention of using the money to pay for their lawyer to go after innocent homeowners.
THE SOLUTION
CONCERNING REAL ESTATE AGENTS
False reporting as to the status of the POA being mandatory to real estate agents representing our subdivision is an ongoing problem concerning the POA’s conduct.
The POA is a voluntary association that are lying to you, and in the process, sabotaging real estate transactions. The DHHOA has sent notice to all three title companies and real estate agents that the POA is misrepresenting our subdivision and has no right to collect dues on closing.
The HOA has sent letters out to Real Estate Agents in our area notifying them the POA has no right to call themselves mandatory and collect assessments on closing. There are NOT a mandatory associations in the Druid Hills subdivision of Florissant Colorado period!
WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE
- Real estate agents and title company representatives that represent the Druid Hills Subdivision need to, please stop supporting this unlawful take over of our subdivision and demand proof that the Druid Hills POA has the legal authority to demand dues at closings, because they DO NOT.
- Presented as a VOLUNTARY association and the same is true for the Druid Hills Homeowners Association (DHHOA) as they are voluntary too.
- The POA should be properly soliciting free-will support of homeowners not lying, manipulating, or misusing resources in order to forcibly gain members by collecting assessments through the means of harassing homeowners with threats of liens.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
If you, like many other Druid Hills residents, are tired of the harassment, lies, and other deceitful and unlawful tactics used by the Druid Hills Property Owners Association operating in Druid Hills, Florissant Colorado, Teller County Colorado – then please take this opportunity to help dissolve the problem like ‘real estate misrepresentation’ once and for all.
This problem will not go away on its own until proper legal action is taken, and residents ban together to dismantle this growing threat to our community, that’s how you can help! One solution is to sign the signature page, if we get the majority vote we can file an article of dissolution against the POA to disband, because the community ‘wills it’ that’s final!
